This mix features species which provide habitat for the insect species that our native birds require to raise their young. Some species should germinate and bloom in the first year and others will show up in the second or third year. There are a majority of perennial species in this mix including two woody perennials, which may require a couple years to establish. Patience is key! Expect two to three years for optimum establishment.
